Add the wages in, and it's a different story

Obviously. Thats like boasting about how good a deal you got on a car paying £10k for it but somebody else chipping in "but add petrol in and its a different story".

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

So £8.25 spent and £1.8 in return (Legiertwood & Gorkss) and Warnock said we spent just over £8 million so thats a net off £6. whatever.

To speculate on some off the more sensible prices I have seen quoted for our players...

            £1.25 million DJ Campbell
            £3 million SWP
            £1 million Anton Ferdinand
            £1 million Luke Young
            £2 million Traore

I doubt that's too far off

I would have thought the Stoke figures had add ons, making those the maximum possible price.

Sunderland themselves and now Sky seem to think Ferdinand cost £3m.

It could be the full deal, based on staying up, 100 appearances, etc. but I'm starting to doubt the £1m figure.
and I was under the impression that Traore & Young were the other way round £1.2m and £1.75m respectively.
