I'm glad it's sorted, what is it loan til Jan with view to a perm?

Regardless of what we all think (i actually think if he's quick, he can do a job) Warnock wants him, so must have a clear picture in his mind of how he can bemefit us. That's good enough for me.

If it was too late that's too bad, but we do not want to do anything which might be at all suspicious!!

I wonder where this leaves Hogan? He must be quite a fair way down the pecking order now. Shame always had a top attitude however I can see him departing somewhere on loan to The Championship once their "emergency loan" system opens up.

I think that's a relatively standard disclaimer. I doubt the club would have put it up were they not confident of it going through.

It is confusing though as Warnock says about getting him through on time (assuming referring to the 11pm cutoff) yet it was supposedly 2 mins too late and rejected....

Are we sure this article wasn't written up in advance and may not be right?

Hope not. Just checking his scoring record. He got 3 in 11 for Blackpool in the prem, better than 1 in 4 for a poor team which is good. Plus 5 in 7 for Millwall in the CCC, which is very good at that level, and suggests he is better standard than that.

Yet some people suggest he's not good enough, when he could clearly do a job. Maybe they are the bunch who are gutted we didn't blow £10m on Crouch aged 30, with his 1 in 6 ratio for Spurs....
