Feel sorry for the lad, the way he ran in. Would've been happier to have him than not - he is pacy and not bad running with the ball but on a positive note perhaps that means young Bruno (who has same traits tbf) will get some opportunities.
What amazes me is when they said on SSN that you only have to get one page through on the fax by 11pm but we still could not even do that.
For gods sake how many fax machines do the FA actually have LOL.
The better question is why is anyone still using fax machines in this day and age. If Puncheon hasn't gone through it's ridiculous as there was clearly an agreement between the clubs before 11 and paperwork was the hold up. Would be a shame as I think he'd be a good option off the bench too.
Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.
Why don't Saints tear up his contract, so he's a free agent.
We sign him as a free agent, outside the window.
We buy a pencil sharpener from Southampton for 500k a few days later.
Sorted.
Might lead to a points deduction, and ultimate relegation - but life's a risk.
Well I can not help to think that NW just wanted Puncheon yesterday in case SWP did not sign in time. Very cynical but I guess thats life of the transfer deadline day.
2 mins late does not match the messages Amit tweeted yesterday. Never ever did he speak of puncheon - or insinuate.
