Defo not £6.5m . I would expect our new media hungry owner would have made a big deal of smashing our transfer record if true.

Hope we're not saying 6.5 when only cost us 3, we all know what **** that got us into last time.

Daily Mail has it down as 2.8mill, which is more like it.
Ferdinand was £4m, which would be our new record transfer.

when do you ever believe what the sun writes?
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
            Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Either way our transfer record of 15 years ago has at last been broken,I understand the SWP deal was for £3 million which is £250,000 more than Sheron so record broken,i dont think we paid as much for Anton, around £2 million i think.
