That's the only deal that has not gone through. Are we going to have shirt sponsor? If not, I will not buy the new shirt.

I don't get this. I'd far prefer a shirt without some hideous corporate logo ruining it.

TF clearly stated that this was not top priority, securing our transfers targets and supporting Neil was.

Our owners have made it quite clear, that unlike Everton and a lot of other clubs, they will support the club Finanicaly and if need cover any short fall that not having a sponsor will cost.

Becuase If they rush put now, they will not get the full price due to the season has already started and without these signings everyone would have thought we were going to get relagated.

I agree with the poster above, i like not having one but i do expect one in time when someone offers the value that TF / Amit think its worth.

Just like you wont be buying any tickets?
Do you want a big flashy sponsor then like SAMSUNG or Fly Emirates?
Also I bet you wouldn't buy it anyway....
Christ, after yesterday all you can post about is the sponsor...
            You've wound me up.
            Big style.

We are probably more attractive to sponsors with the calibre of players we have signed. I'd be surprised if we don't tie a deal up soon.

If Tony wants to stick Air Aisa on there, I'd be fine with that considering he and Amit just bankrolled our biggest spending spree to date.

I like the shirts without a sponsor.

shirts minus sponsor look great - i prefer - however now we have the signings we have, we are in a far better position to negotiate a better sponsorship deal.

that said, the OP point is good, air asia on the shirts would be good for tony and also make us look less, er, sponsor-less. be surprised if the shirts stay sponsorless for too much longer.
                  come on you r's!

You won't buy a shirt because it doesn't have a corporate logo on it? Could you please explain why? You would more than likely be the only person I have heard of that would do that.

I'd prefer the £20m over 4 years for a couple of more players.

I wrote to the programme , god knows when but before we had shirt sponsors, against having them. I think I said something like "if a church needed a new roof , would they have a Washing Powder ad on the front of the Altar ? "
That was over thirty years ago. I would love it if we had no sponsor, but we have spent a lot of money yesterday on new contracts so I will buy this years shirt sponsor or no sponsor.

I couldn't care less whether the shirt has a sponsor on it or not. It's still the blue and white hoops which the players are wearing so it's good enough for me.

I actually think a decent logo can make a shirt look class. Without one, as good as it still looks, it is somehow incomplete... Makes me think of Sunday league when some teams are sponsored and others aren't.

although i prefer the shirt without a sponsor - they are not going to sell the new shirt without a sponsor. Beard said as soon as the window was closed he will giving his full attention to the sponsor and other sponsorship deals so expect it to happen in the next few weeks.
