  • But no one's really left........

Gonna be a few players picking up their wages and do nothing.

A big load will be out of contract next summer.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I think no one would be sold mate due to wages, loans will follow next week with us paying 50 percent plus of wages!

Think a few will be loaned out , especially when the final squad numbers are announced.

I cant wait for that clearout! All the new signings are on longer than 1 year deals and so they wil still be around next summer obviously (WHEN we stay up ) and clearing out such names as Rowly, Cook, Dave, Pelicori, Alberti, Vine & Borrowdale must shift about 80-90k a week from the wage bill for which we can use to add more valuable names, of the calibre weve been linked with (ie Crouch, Bassong type players) to strengthen our squad even more and gradually, year on year, progress. I think a side like Stoke are exactly who we should be looking to emulate.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

loan market will open up next week. twas unlikely any of our fringe players was going to be sold as their wages are too much for most championship sides. but no doubt a large % will be loaned out. if not they will play in the ressies
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"
