Fantastic. Arguably our most important signing.

Agreed. The thought of a season relying on Hall, Gabbidon, Perone, Hill and Connolly is what keeps me up at night. They're passable back-up to have, but nothing more. Staying up in the Premiership is about nicking 1-0 wins, as Blackpool found out you can score a ton of goals but it doesn't do much good if you keep conceding. Bassong is quality and proven at this level.

Not so sure. Its like election night. info coming in from all over. there are always stories coming out the next day even of transfers the media didn't pick up on.
