Come on people, you must keep up!

SWP is clearly a future brain of Britain, he has used a double negative, very subtle but 'aint gone nowhere' actually means that he has 'gone' somewhere.

These footballing chaps really are a cut above....

Not Gone anywhere doesn't mean he's not going anywhere.... Why would he stay there knowing he won't play any football whatsoever.

Someone get him a high chair so he can reach the table and sign on the dotted line.

SSN said this morning that there was just a couple of issues to clear up with his City contract, so maybe he's dealing with that in Manchester.

Signed contracts can be faxed on deadline day. Also, Paul Morrisey said on the pre-match show that photos and interviews are often done before the signing so that they can release everything onto the web at the same time.

              I'm not worried.

1049: It's hotting up nicely now people. Chief football writer Phil McNulty can confirm that QPR have agreed a fee with Manchester City for Shaun Wright-Phillips, a move which may still be completed today even though there has been a late hitch over finance.

Lots of players are happy to take the money nowdays. He went to Chelsea knowing he would get far less game time but a far bigger wage packet.

I hope he comes, but doubt it.

SSN say the late hitch is to do with swp compensation package from man city. Wages and everything else have been agreed.

From what I remember and have read, he had to leave as City needed the money.

From reading their forum, a lot reckon he left for Chelsea in tears.
