  • Sunderland fans views on Ferdinand........

Not bothered that he is going. 4 million is a steal for them as he is in the last year of his contract.

More of a squad player once Turner and Bramble are back.

Prone to lapses in concentration which leads to a goal. Sounds familiar

    Oh well, we will see!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I think Bramble gets some unfair stick. All defenders will have their moments, but the couple of Sunderland fans i know rate him very highly. Best centre back they have they reckon.

I thought it was £1m. If it was £4m it would have made much more sense to go for Dans, but £1m is a classic Warno bargain buy - bit cr*p but cheap and can be polished up quite well.

I will be quite happy if we bring him here. Has experience and he's still young enough to improve his game learning off the master... Fitz!

If we can get him fir £1m it's a bit of a no brainer as better than we have, if it's £4m i have some reservations, but if Danns now not an option, there may not be too many options out there, in which case go for it.

he's a good defender and we need him. Think the £4m might be in result of apperance/performance etc as all transfers seem to be recently.
I'm happy with the purchase, proven at PL level.

QPRTimes tweet "Sunderland could allow Ferdinand to join #QPR for as little as £1 million."

Look fellas who do you want to listen to. A group of fans, who like most fans always #### off players as soon as they leave, or Neil Warnock.Remember Derry signing

Correct. Fitz on his day would give him a run but Ferdinand is better. Has a bit of pace to, which we need.
