Of all days! Last week it was Buz, tonight it was Mick Jones on the North End Rd down in Fulham having a cheeky drink. He was wearing his QPR gear and was with someone else from the club who I didn't recognise. Had a quick chat and what a lovely bloke.

1. Onunuha - definitely not happening

2. Crouch - interested, but doubtful

3. SWP - should be fully tied up soon

4. Ferdinand - in talks and sounds like a deal could be done


Some of the players still have the virus. Campbell and Vaagan Moen still in a bad way. Connolly and Boothroyd still have the virus but had to play in last couple of games because of lack of options.

I got the impression that was all the signings. No idea where he had been. Maybe at the ****?

A very decent fella and sounds excited for the Newcastle game with all the new players, players back from suspension and the virus players dully fit.

It may not be enough but considering our position two weeks ago if Barton, Young and Traore plus a ticket price reduction is all we get then we haven't done too badly have we? As NW has said a number of times that he'll try and get in as many as he can and reassess come January. Instead of having just two weeks to get players in he'll have near on four months.

Once the 25 has been named we can't use the loan market. We have to make do until January.
