Smart move, offeringbig signing on fees as that will mean the club going forward would be sustainable but more importanly would mean, if the premierleague or UEFA bring in the wage cap limit to 64%, we would still be under it !
Smart moveOne for all.... and all for one

Having said that - I don't think it is healthy for any club to go crazy with wages - especially if it means someone earns 4x that of their team mates.

[QUOTE=silvercue;699753]There cannot be a wage cap - UEFA don't pay the players. It would need all the clubs in Europe to agree something like that.
Sorry i should have been more specific, FIFA and UEFA can bring in rules that states your club can only spend 64% of its revenue on wages, otherwise there will be punishments.
Paying big siging on fees and then allowing the club to reduce the weekly wage bill below this figure gets around this rule, as the signing on fees will not be classed as wages.
Sorry for any confusionOne for all.... and all for one

It makes perfect sense tbh. If others can match highest earners you might as well do what QPR are doing with high signing on fees etcUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
