they've been defensively solid this season.
    Why are they selling then?

Think we should just go for Dann.

I'd rather Dann and as to why they'd sell him I don't know. I'm just going on both what media reports have said this season and the Black Cats forum.

Averages 24 games a season. Average being an accurate assessment.

He is to Rio as Joel was to Eric.

If there is the money for Ferdinand, there is the money for Dann

Sky Sports say it's only 1million. That's a good price
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

IMO, some of us seem to be getting abit ahead of ourselves now weve been taken over. A few weeks ago we would have loved a player like Anton Ferdinand. Now that a few names have been banded out on here and in the media (ie Onouha & Danns), were turning our noses up at a player who has bags of PL experience, has played more than 20 league games every season in the PL since 2003 and has started every game so far for Sunderland, a side that will probably finish alot higher than us. I think we need to realise this year is about survival and Anton Ferdinand would not be a bad signing at all for a side like us.

Dont get me wrong, I dont rate him as better than either Onouha or Danns, Id much prefer either of those, but Im just saying Ferdinand isnt the sort of player we should be frowning upon.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

If so, need to pull out all the stops for Dann, very good player, would be a huge buy for us.

I reckon its the agents spouting off to the media that their players have been offered to us. It don't mean that Warno wants Ferdy but if he does we should be happy that we can attract such a player.

You could ask the same about Luke Young, Barton, SWP, or anyone else.
Maybe Ferdinand wants to return to London, and QPR in particular?

                            Not just up to Sunderland.
