IMO 2 defenders ( Armand & Scott Dann ) and S-W-P's and we're good to go. A striker would be a bonus ( Bellamy for me )Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

The possible scenario is, the new CB injured(whether it's Danns or Onouha) and Hall injured which is very likely. We'd have to play Gabbidon and Connolly as CB's, and we're already screwed by teams like Wigan with them in the back four.

Warnock has already said the purpose of these transfers is to get us to January. Our first choice strike force has only had one game so far. Maybe we should give them a chance before calling for yet more signings. Under the old regime I was among the loudest to say our lack of spending was a joke but I think some fans are now a little too keen to test the generosity of Fernandes. I would hate our fans to become greedy and spoilt like Chelsea. Lets delight in the team we have already, which is light years ahead of where I thought it would be a month ago. I'd far rather wait till January if it meant landing a Crouch or another really top striker that might stay a few years and be our main man than waste a few of someone's elses millions on a striker who might turn out to be no better than what we already have. I love signing players as much as any fan, but lets just calm down a bit, eh?
