It wasn't an issue. As a member, I was concerned by the tact and wording in that particular piece. The LSA guy I spoke to accepted it could have been better and altered when re-issued.

Have to agree that would have been perfect

Well if it bothers you that much then speak to the LSA!

They are at every home and away game!

I think the word 'custodian' implies that the new board are now the ones running club and unlike the previous board the LSA would like them to maintain the values of our club. Fernandes et al have made a very positive start and hopefully that will be the case until our next 'custodians' who ever they maybe in the future!

As I say, Jeffro, I respect your opinion. I definitely feel it could have been worded better, but I can't see how it's patronising, and I very much doubt it was meant that way.

Hello and welcome to the club would have been enough, but I think they were trying to point out that they would like to be communicated with. I don't see anything wrong with that.
          Your mum would love me...

Fair point. As a member you are totally within your right to raise such points.

I don't understand how a non LSA member has got worked up over the wording of a letter which doesn't represent him!

Nothing to do with having time for them. I simply stated that letter was worded poorly and came across patronising. You and Hammersmith have taken offence to this.
I don't dislike LSA, as I said they have had no bearing on my past as a QPR fan and will have no bearing on the future, so how can something irrelevant to me , be disliked?

Good luck in whatever it is they want to achieve.

Agree with Benny but to me it does come across quite cold and actually non welcoming.

I do think the LSA should be listened to but they do come across as the no1 fan group and ok they might be the longest running but for me that attitude stinks a little. No wonder we have a divided fan base.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Believe me, the LSA don't want the fan base to be divided!

But they have the highest number of members because people feel they are represented best by them on issues that affect our club.

People don't have to join if they don't want to.

But it's a good way of raising an issue with the club on whatever matter.

And like I said without them, then we may not have had a club to support.

Of course I'm going to defend them. I'm a member and certainly believe in the values that they stand for.

They have a long history of doing what they feel is right on behalf of their members.

Erm Im quite entitled to complain as they are writing a letter which I don't like the way it is worded to the new owners of the club. Whether I'm a member or not means nothing.
This is an opinion board and I'm giving an opinion, and you're acting like a little school kid who's best mate got a better score in homework!

Never said you weren't entitled to an opinion, just find it strange you have got so worked up by something which doesn't concern you. But like I said, if you had any grievances with the letter then the LSA committee are more than happy to speak to you on it. I can put you in touch with John Reid if you want to speak to him personally. He'll be at the Newcastle home game and Wolves away game. He is most certainly a very passionate supporter of our club and its values and has been since the 50s.

To be fair hammersmith, the letter has already been sent so a bit pointless really.

True that, we're not divided into different groups within Qpr. Seems like what this discussion is based on.

Doesn't offend me, so am not bothered. It's Jeffro who is aggrieved. I have just directed him to the person he can speak to about the letter.
