Did anyone see the LSA letter sent to Fernandes, on Petes FB group?

I think it is fine. It could have been worded better for sure, but the tone is welcoming. There is a hint of someone going into a new relationship slightly scarred by the last one, but that's only to be expected. I's be surprised if Tony et al were upset by this!

Why is it, when we want to try and move forward with our club we have people trying to dig out people who are some of the most decent fans we have? They only want what's best for the fans! If you don't want them to represent you, then don't join! SIMPLE!

      I give up sometimes!

Who agreed to boycott merchandise? Who agreed to boycott publications? I didnt, and I hope mr Fernandes knows 1000 people or whatever represent this , not ms. I spend thousand s going up and down the country and quite cranky mr Fernandes deserves more respect than that.

Exactly! The previous regime wouldn't meet any of the fans groups. They would only speak through their mouth piece of the official supporters club which is not exactly being impartial!

Fernandes wants dialogue with the fans groups and the LSA if you read it welcome that!

Are you a member of the LSA? If NOT, then they don't represent you!

They are the largest supporters group we have with over 1,000 members! A large percentage of our support.

They follow the club everywhere. 3 coaches to Everton and 2 coaches to Wigan. They are some of the most loyal fans we have.

If you read the letter properly you will see it says they welcome Tony Fernandes and want a partnership where there can be in dialogue with the fans over issues like ticketing. If it wasn't for the LSA you might not have a club to support! It could well have been Fulham Park Rangers that you'd be supporting!

And one of the founder members of the LSA is being buried on Thursday and a very large number of Rangers fans will be there.

The LSA just want what's best for the club as the fans will ALWAYS be here.
            Well said.

It was under Flavio and Bernie in the summer after the price hike

Now we have the new owners they want people to spend money at the club

              You understand now?

Why would I want to meet with a group that have no bearing whatsoever on me or my club, I simply posted that I think that letter was patronising.
They are no more loyal than me and can do what they like, it won't affect QPR FC and our "custodians"

Still a member - have been since that fateful day in February 1987. Had reason to pull them up about wording in a fairly recent press piece. Criticism made and taken in good faith - everyone moves on.

It was a fans group, Jeffro, and I make them right, mate. There was no way I was putting any money in their pockets, other than the money I pay to support my team. If you disagree, that's fine, and I respect that.

I genuinely don't see anything disrespectful about that letter. The part where they mention him being the custodian of our long history is a fair comment. I see that more as them saying that he is trusted to help us regain the direction we all want. Surely that's what we all want?

Don't do that Nodge, you're not a proper loyal fan if you disrespect the omniscient LSA.

Benny I just think they worded IT wrong and a few parts were patronising. Others have agreed. Fair play for whatever they try and achieve but I think I could have been worded better.

You obviously have no time for the LSA and thats fine as each to their own but I still dont see what they have done so wrong over the years to rattle your cage so much?

For what it's worth. I agree with Jeffro in that it could have been worded better. Something short and sweet like: "Welcome Tony, cheers for the ticket price reduction and bringing back the feel good factor. You Rs."
