i'm still trying to work out where the club have identified as a possible site,TF said you can see it from LR.But has been stated the Unigate site has been sold, and the BBC site will stay as a tv facility, plus the main core of the building is grade 2 listed
And,as has been stated,do we move out, where land is more abundant and cheaper, closer to where the bulk of our fans now live......or,stay close to HQ,where pulic transport links are better, and where we are more accessable to new/floating fans
plus, there is how do we pay for it...i know we can easily average 20k plus if we stay up.Its possible to increase your support,Fulham have shown this, and if Wigan, who are in an area saturated with footy teams, can get 17k against us,i'm sure we can average much more

Agreed, but as this venture is going to cost £100m + and it needs to make money, this meas there is a limit on too how cheap you can make it.

Spreading the cost with another club will help bring down ticket prices, keeping it with reach of the ordinary fan allowing them to experiance the ride and allowing us to sell this amount, while meaning the stadium will be used 38 weeks in 52, making it affordable.

Yes people wont like sharing but we are in a harsh world that everything must pay for it self.
One for all.... and all for one

Chelsea looking to move, Fulham in an old stadium and land scarce in London then any new build should be with one of those two.

It really does make sense to share the build and running costs.

Sharing with Fulham would be my choice, for obvious reasons

i wouldnt mind sharing with Fulham, trouble is where?they wont want to move to far away from where they are now,and i'm not aware of any spare land between LR and the Cottage.
Like i said,i'd love to know where this place is that the club has identified as a possible site.I can only think of the scrubs, though somebody claimed on here that the scrubs belong to the M.O.D(but they are selling of land all over the place, and with governments cuts, they need to)
I do remember in the past when we enquired about the scrubs, its proximity to the hospital was cited as a reason we couldn't build there(something to do with access for emergency vehicles)

Yes, in the region of 25-30k something like Brightons so that we can build on it (increase) if necessary in the future.
            Queens Park Rangers
            NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

i think we have to move, our facilities for fans are not good, i went to the enemy last season in the east stand which was built in the 70's and their facilities put ours to shame

think a 25k all seater arena will suit perhaps with planning to extend if required, function rooms etc are key and maybe some form of hotel etc for revenue

You can build this for £30m - £40m but wont fit on the current footprint of our ground. Personally i think any move away form decent transport links may cost us as you have to think about away fans also and how they transport in. Being a london club we need to be near to the central main line links which we are now. Heathrow area is only served by the piccadily line but has a fast train from paddington also.

                would support a move though

we have the most accessible ground in London, why move out of W12? How about building a stadium in the park and any lost facilities to the local community can be re-sited at Loftus Road
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

there is a site at Park Royal that the previous owners mentioned

the park,i assume,,is the one round the corner, near the smuts, where that lesuire centre used to be...would be ideal, only trouble is its twice the size of HQ,so i can't see the locals being too happy about it

the one on the left s. africa rd. walking to the ground, as for upsetting the locals, 80% of those are asylum seekers so they don't have a say

nowhere near big enough, plus, with BBC TC centre next door, limited access..and its not just about upsetting locals..its down to the council at the end of the day

tongue in cheek comment from me superhoop re asylum seekers, the park boundaries are s. africa rd., batman close, end of frithville gardens and the bbc, so hardly 50 yards wide unless you thought I meant just the football pitch. No I'm talking the whole park for redevelopment and what facilities are lost replace at LR
