Absolutely. It's the only way to progress. Have seen the glass ceiling in action.

It's simple, if we're going to be sustainable we need a bigger ground. Especially with the wages that have been reported (offered 70k/week for Parker). Any news on the BBC moving? Heard it rumoured we might be looking to buy the land and build there.

Yes, as long as it is as near to Loftus Road as possible.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

no contest , need a bigger and more modern ground with better facilities. something like the reebok, large function room to hold events like darts etc which bring in extra revenue.

really has to be in the local area though. Club would lose a lot if it went too far. needs pubs nearby too.

If we want this club to grow and sustain top level football, its the only way.

Pre the revolution I was a staunchly in the no point in moving brigade but with the ambition of the board and the fact that they appear to have high ethics, I have started to think a new stadium might make sense.
I do think that we need to start constantly packing out HQ prior to any move being seriously considered.
Newcastle and Villa tickets still in abundance and we only got about 4k for Rochdale considering spam got nearly 20k against Aldershot.
I know people are going to say the fans are going to come but without some viable Market research it's going to be risky. I'm still sceptical whether the club has a large sustainable fan base for a stadium more than 20k considering in our most recent golden era of the early 90s we were averaging 14/15k.
Saying all the above, I didnt think a few days ago that we would be in a position to sigh JB and be the only club that can afford Parkers wage demands, so I suppose anything can happen down at LR

The sensible business decision would be a ground, training facility, hotel and leisure complex on the A40 corridor, 10 miles away in Hillingdon, to tap into the thousands of people who would go to watch top flight footie. Won't be popular with some, but to a business person wanting to get bums on seats, wesk in week out, making money 24/7, it's a no brainer.

Problem you have here is not if people think we should move as most people do, the issues is where and how do we do it.

Building a stadium in West London is not going to be cheap and any adventure of this nature need to have a good financal business plan, otherwise this will be a burdun on the club for years and years to come.

So how do you do this? a) move outside of london towards the M40 were the land is cheaper b) share the ground with Fulham / Chelsea or c) build it with a shopping mall / casino / hotel complex / cinema ?

Problem with this is a) people wont like moving out, b)people wont want to share c) your now relying on a third party business to be profitable, if its not thats another burden you have to pay for?

This is also assumming we can get the addtional 40k fans they will need to make sure we fill the staduim game in and out.

If it was me i would do do b) ground share and have an 50% / 50% split with the added option c) but as hotels as you could fill these each week with football fans. alot of fans wont like this solution and I would expect demostrations and upset people (i would take it on the chin) but to me that is the only relistic option we have to make it a profitable venture.
One for all.... and all for one

You can fill anything anywhere if the price is cheap enough
