Maybe Funky is "doing a Pete" - calling it before its called in the hope of generating traffic. Hope not as would be a cracking signing and full credit to him if he calls right two of the biggest signings in the club's recent history.

This kind of thread which gives your MB a bad name, we've had it from the horses mouth that he hasn't signed, and is thinking about it.
Now he might sign tomorrow, doesn't change the fact that this bloke is making it up.

He said that to the Sky reporter when he left the training ground earlier in the day, and tweeted about then also. That doesn't mean it's impossible he's signed a contract later in the day / early evening.

Even if he had signed personally, QPR still need to finalise detail with Newcastle before they can announce it. Also, "IF" he has, i'm sure given their levels of proffessionalism, they would have asked Joey to not tweet anything until after they've done the right thing with Newcastle, which could explain why he's not said anything....

Maybe clutching at straws, but some usually very reliable people on here, particularly Walkonby have said they've heard he's signed....

Usually very reliable yes but Daily Mail reporting that the Toon are having second thoughts.

                              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                              And many more mistakes

Ok now the body language analysis,
When Joey was asked If he was optomistic that the deal would go through, before speaking he nodded his head a few times (Yes) before his answer these things take time etc.
I'm no expert but have read that this is something people do and it gives their answer (without actually realising they have done it) so maybe we're worrying about nothing.
