If it meant we were guaranteed to tie up JB on a permanent deal ( forget wages for a minute ) would you be bothered if Adel was sold ( I'm sure PSG will come sniffing again ).

For me you know what you're getting with JB wheras Adel (although he was quality last year ) he is still unproven at the highest level and I can see better teams than Bolton sussing him out !!

Wrong way of looking at it. The single most likely way of holding on to Adel - if, by the way, he does the business and isn't shipped out - is by buying other quality players. Fernandes isn't going to pump all this money in to buy new players only to let our existing best players go.

Woo hold on a minute my friend. Please don't bring phrases like "western mentality" into it. Adel has given all of us huge pleasure but don't forget HE was the one tarting himself around for a move like crazy in the close season. That lost him the right to demand loyalty. Think the club is delighted he stayed with us but from now on he is not going to be the only star. If he wants to be a part of the future of the club he has to prove he is still good enough. Am sure the manager of Morocco's international team would take a very similar approach.
