The difference is Adel is already captain, and scored 19 goals and made 19 more goals last season as we won the league. Barton would be a new player coming into the club who doesn't really want to be here.

Not exactly captain material im sure you will agree. Add in the fact Adel is captain to get the best out of him which clearly worked last season. Barton would still be the same player with or without the armband (just like Derry) while Adel seems to need that extra responsibilty to bring the best out of his game.

dont think adel should be captain, never agreed with it. Some players when captain really thrive on it and get the best out of their team mates - adel is not that type... he thrived on being captain and upped his own game. adel is all about himself and i dont really have a problem with that, theres a lot of players like him but he shouldnt be captain.

We all know Derry is the real captain, Adel just wears the armband for the reasons I pointed out in my previous post.

It would be the same if we got Barton, Adel would wear the armband but everyone would know who the leader of the side was.

there is no barton at the end and you will find yourself that the only hope to survive is ADEL and adels assists and goals. without him , even if you bring all EPL missionary players and EPL journeymen to QPR they will not give a fffk because if they come they will come just for the money and milking the new cow as they did for their previous team.

barton is in for a shock 50,000 down to 15,000 , adel is a brat that cant wait to get away but hes going no where fast unless he can perform as he did last season..u cant stick him in the stiffs as he is likely to win u a game on his day
