Some of you will always find a negative, and that'll never change. At the end of the day, I'm more than happy at the intent we're showing. Just getting a player like Barton to show an interest is a huge leap in terms of how far we've come, yet you'll never stop some wanting to put a gloom over it.

Facto is just having his bit of fun fellas and it would be a duller place without him. Agree that its odd any fan could not be positive about our club at the moment - even Matthew seems quite cheerful - but lets not shoot the boy down too much. And I do understand why some think this is almost too good to be true - lots of clubs signng Joey Barton would be "Oh, great, he's a good signing" but for us this is absolutely massive. And after all the tribulations we have had its hardly surprising some fans are still expecting things to go wrong. For what its worth I think this is the best time to be supporting Rangers since the first Gerry Francis management era, perhaps even the El Tel days.
