It was during a really bad time for the club when he died and his death took us to an all time low. Now that we're back to what is alomost an all time high its good to remember Ray, and others, who are forever part of our history and who would undoubtedly be a player we'd love to have with us now.

I still remember being only about 15 miles from Burnley when we got the news. Tragic death of a very talented footballer who would have been doing great things now for sure.

Reminds me in many ways of an Andy Carroll in the way he plays.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

RIP Ray - What a waste of a potentially great player. Will always be left to wonder what might have been. RIP.

RIP Ray and the other lads. So sad. I was in France when I heard the news, didn't believe it at first.
