Aside from the big money earned from reaching the PL, TF is part of a consortium, supposedly worth the best part of £1bill. Plus, Mittals wealth is huge, this year valued by Forbes to be $31.1bill (approx just shy of £19bill) and therefore buying some footballers for a few mill and being able to put towards a player or 2's 60k a week wages is small fry to say the least, the fella probably earns that whilst he sleeps!

I love it, the feeling of finally being able to compete and not getting a sense of being "also rans" there to make up the numbers, as I couldnt help but think under T&C. I think Amit is key to the money tbh, being Mittal's son-in-law, keep him sweet and ensure he is happy and feels welcomed/loved at the club and I can see alot more money coming in

Where has it said that he is part of a consortium worth 1 billion?

Its an open fact that he is part fo a consortium, and the value of which I only read on here (yes, hardly reliable I know lol) think it may have been Scott that mentioned it (apologies if it wansn't Scott!). But just going by the money being spent and the names being banded around, I cant help but think TF has a fair bit of money behind him and its defianlty not "just" his "£300mill" wealth there to support us

There was something last week about another Asian partner coming in with T.F. also beleive Mittals will now in invest now they have a decent partner who they can deal with, dont think they trusted T & C Also as 33% stake holder probably obliged to stump up 30% of any transfer kitty if not more! And as Amit is in love with Rs dont think he will be bothered
