  • facto's disgruntled thread!!!!!

im sorry but, tinpot cup competition or not, in my humble opinion neil warnock and the players chose to represent qprfc last night have let themselves and us ,the fans, down.........to not even put up a spirited showing for the loyal paying fans who bothered to turn up is paramount to insulting them.........every one of you that went last night deserves a refund and neil warnock must be told in no uncertain terms a strong side must represent us in all future cup games!!..........for me the likes of cook/rowlands/big dan have no future at the club now and should be moved on asap.........im so angry at the 'embarrisment' those inept players and management put upon our great club last night!!
    you know nothing john snow!!!!

Well said sir, they are representing our great club, and that was simply not good enough.

I completely and 100% agree with you. I was an insult.

Next season no one should go ..and treat it with the same contempt that the management the players and the club seem too.

refunds should been given under the trades description act. there was no match or competition one team turned up to play a game of football the other didn't!

Yep, boycott the game as if the manager and players cant be bothered to turn up, why should the fans. £50 plus travel, food, drinks and whatever else for a family of 4 to watch a team not bother.

If a race horse trainer said that he was glad that one of his horses had lost a race he would be in all sorts of trouble. How NW gets away with what he said about last nights game is beyond me?

Cup runs are good for moral regardless of the competition.. and considering our one and only cup success was in this competiton..had the same attitude existed that season then we would now be denied our one and only major piece of silverware.

Not bothered. Pretty much says he doesn't care about the cup each year. The further you get in it the more you want to win it and expend your energy when you should be staying up. I am very indifferent to it. Next season if we are still up or season after that I would expect an effort myself. I do feel for the people who paid to go but, it was expected.

Totally agree!!....Warnock made it clear last year, he puts the league first (correctly in my view)...and look how that turned out!!....Anyone who turned up last night expecting anything more than a training exercise need to blame themselves and no-one else for wasting their money on it. Only 4 thousand ish turned up....didn't the lack of crowd give them a hint?? It's going to be tough staying in the prem this year and it'll be even tougher if we tried to throw in a cup run on top of it. This time next year, if we're still in the Prem, I wont give a flying F about last night's result.

There is a bif difference between it not being a priority and wanting to lose.

If the manager wants to lose, the team is not going to win. End of story.

If that is the case the game should be free to attend or behind closed doors. Charging people on the understanding they are going to see a competitive game, when they are not, is not a million miles from fraud....theft....certainly daylight robbery!

Rather do the opporsite to Birminghim. Don't want to win the Mickey Mouse cup and be relegated. Happy to go out first round to a lower league side and stay in the Premiership thank you very much, please sir ever so kindly please thank you please!

Why do people have problems with manager's double-talk? Talking about playing reserves means I'm not interested in the competition but am not allowed to publicly say it.

If Warnock had just taken over and we weren't aware of what his policy in the cups might be then I would have been surprised by his decision to pick a weaker team but we all knew that would happen. We all knew that Warnock would put a weaker side out especially after what happened with Mackie.

I believe it's up to the owners (and in this case they've only been in 5 mins so even they can't be blamed) to decide prices and force a manager to take it seriously. Warnock doesn't have to do anything for us - his job is to ensure survival not get knocked out by a bigger club in a later round. We aren't expected to win it so why risk injuries, suspensions?
