The League Cup wasn't held in 1986.
    Didn't happen...

Just watched NW's interview on player he looks so relaxed and happy, back to his old self , playing the press and enjoying himself. Good to see!

I will never go to a league cup game again a complete and utter digrace ! Paying hard earned money to watch professional footballers who are on top wages not giving 100 percent and showing disrespect to loyal supporters who some travel miles to support the club that they love and to here the manager say he happy we're out ! Totally unacceptable !

Sorry, but I don't agree with Neil Warnock on this.
I grew up watching managers always fielding their strongest sides, no matter what the competition was.
Win every game, that should be the aim of every self-respecting football club.

At least now, almost 5,000 people know to keep their money in their pocket when we play the first/second round of the Carling cup next year.

Not as bad as risking ya life at Elland Rd when Leeds beat us 2-1, the plod on horseback saying 'stay calm, we are trying to negotiate your safe release from Elland Rd' then getting in the car to hear a radio interview with Martin Allen saying they were playing for a draw as they thought they could beat them at LR ................ :yush:
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

                  Carling Cup needs a revamp.

Drop Prem teams as they don't care about it and replace them with the Conference.Still keep it as a Europa League place.Let the Prem teams see what they are missing out on when West Ham or somebody qualify for Europe from the Championship.

Scrap the Johnstones Paint trophy and make the Carling Cup the must win trophy for the Championship down.
