Barton,Parker (bid increased to £5m),Joe Cole,Onuoha,Young,Bullard and Puncheon (Holloway also interested).

    The only absentee is SWP.

Perhaps I should change my newspaper,I think they keep coming up with the same old drivel to fill empty spaces in their columns.

Of course we're gonna be linked to everyone and anyone now, reporters etc know we've now got money to spend and Neil has said we want players in by next week.
Easy work for the papers plus sells more.

Out of that list, I can see us only getting Bullard and Puncheon, as they will fit in our wage structure. IMO, Barton, Parker, Joe Cole, Onuoha and Young wont be coming, unless they drastically cut what they want in wages, in exchange for first team footie and help rebuilding their careers.

What wage structure? The 25k mentioned under T&C's reign? Correct me if I am wrong, but TF hasnt mentioned any such wage restraints ?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
