In your view, who was better, Sabin or Nicolas Anelka?

Personally dont see whats so laughable about Sterling. Our side has plenty of experience and as you saw last night with manure young players if allowed to express themselves can make it at this grade. Sterling has bags of pace, something we dont have a the minute and is VERY highly rated. A loan deal could be the answer rather than Warnock buying someone for the sake of it

              Ridiculous question.

Anelka's attitude stinks and he couldnt find the back of the net if his life depended on it. Poor poor striker, Sabin all day.

Not sure what's so incredibly silly about it. The lad has a point to prove, and is rapid. I'd take him over Puncheon or Ambrose, for certain.
to be fair he didnt say ''incredibly silly'',just ''silly''.......i agree with him being better than the southampton reserve and Ambrose

Maybe I'm just trying to play it down in my head, but I don't fancy our chances. Bolton seem to be in advanced talks, and Stoke can offer European football. Stoke are a good choice for any player looking to redirect their career.

Granted, we have money and ambition, but I think we're a year or two early for some of these targets.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, of course.

Yeah you could be right Benny.Stirling would be a no for me,but how about that winger at Pompey ,got sent off against us at Fratton Park. I can't remember his name.(think he's a winger anyway)

                        Oh, dear.

If we cannot land quality players like Wright-Phillips, and have to settle for unknown quantities like Raheem Sterling, we will certainly need more than just a rub of the green this season.
