Fairway in Ashford is a decent, smart little pub, as is Hungry Horse (has most sporting events on and also cheap grub and a big menu).
Pheonix down the river in Sunbury is lovely for a beer in the summer, not cheap as it never is on the river, but ncie setting on a sunny day!You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
