At this early stage of the season its quite important to forge an understanding in a side, especially the defence & keeper.

yeah i sort of agree. however hall and gabbidon have shown in the past that they are quite injury prone and i dont mean im worried about them getting injured in this game. Its more of a case that perhaps our second choice centre backs also need to form some sort of understanding. however id be happy with hall and gabbidon starting aswell, because like you said the more they play together the better the understanding

Contempt it deserves? It the only decent trophy we've won, let's not get too full of ourselves.

As it happens we really need to field a weakened team, with illness in the team etc, but we need to be a little more respectful to our history if we get through this game.
