Is Crouch a target?

I wouldn't want Crouch personally as i think defenders will become lazy and hoof it long in his direction whenever under any pressure, bypassing our midfield in the process, which is our strong point.

Bothroyd held the ball up really well and can do that job for us so why would we waste funds on a very similar player... yes Crouch "may" score more goals, but there's no guarantee and he's not as strong or quick. I'm happy with Bothroyd for that role and would rather spend the money in more problem areas.

There are many surplus players at Spurs who could serve us better imo and would be a lot cheaper...

If we can afford him, why not take him....... that is if there's anything left after we get a couple of FB's, a winger and possibly a DM, then by all means I'll have him. Bothroyd's bound to get injured at some point so instant cover.......
