Is Crouch a target?

There was some talk about Peter Crouch before the take-over which was largely dismissed on wages.

Now we are talking about Parker and Cole - is Crouch a target?

Personally, I would prefer Crouch to Parker or Cole - they are all big names. I know many would rather take Parker, but Crouch would definatley bring us goals.

Yes, he would be mine too.

I know we need defenders, but if we could get some decent signings there and one really big signing - I would love thet to be Crouch.

What with Tabs as well? Reckon that team would probably let in between four and six goals a game. He's obviously a fantastic player but not a priority and not worth blowing our entire budget on.

Some of the media saying we are going to double bid for Parker to £8m. I don't necessarily believe that, but of that is right we could blow most of the budget on a player that, IMHO, would bring less to the team that Crouch. Not that I belive £10m is carved in stone.

im happy with bothroyd as the man leading the line, spurs can keep crouch. the money can definitely spent in much more needed areas.

Well it was widely reported Stoke were prepared to pay £11m.

You say you wouldn't play them all at once but all the new, expensive players we bring in now are going to be first choice. We don't have a decent left back, right back or winger. Plus we badly need a holding midfielder and a if poss another centre half. You can go on forever, as Man City do, adding more squad options but at the moment we have to focus on the areas where we are in desperate need of improving.
