I can only assume you are the guy that writes the jokes that appear in xmas crackers every year.
What part of that sentence did i say he is not good enough for QPR?
As for your attempt at a joke, can see why you didnt get that job. But seriously, because i dont share the same enthusiasm of you that clearly want him here doesnt mean im turning my nose up at the boy, and using this 'we've had some shocking signings over the years' to justify signing him is slightly worrying.

On Saturday we brought on Hogan Ephraim, a former West Ham youth player who didn't make the grade at Upton Park and didn't pull up any trees in League One on loan to Leeds.
Thats irrelevant whether he would have joined us back then as we both know we wasnt in a position to sign Quality premier league players. I dont doubt the lads talent but the fact he has suffered serious injuries means he is no longer the player he once was. As for your dig at Ephraim, poor form mate.

I think if we did get him he would play a different role than being stuck on the left wing, out of position, where he has been stuck for the last few seasons.Adel be wary,be very, very wary.

Am I the only person that didnt take Warnocks quote as meaning we are after him?

"Joe Cole? We can probably afford 30 or 40 per cent of his wages now".

I, personally, took this as a tongue in cheek joke at the fact were even linked with him.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I don't think he's actually a target. I think Warnock loves the fact we are linked with the likes of Cole, but will have other priorities.

Still played 32 games last season for Liverpool. Think Matty might be on to something and Warno could have been knocking the rumour rather than standing it up so probably irrelevant either way, but my point is that if a player of that stature had no injury record we would have no chance of signing him. Even with a bit of money every big name we can even look at is going to have an issue, be it injuries, age, attitude, whatever.

Re Hogan, don't see why my comment is "poor form". Lots of posters on here don't like Connolly for instance (I do). I happen not to think Hogan ever imposes himself on a game and flatters to deceive with a few quite nice touches. Just don't think he is Prem League standard. I'd never boo him on the pitch but I thought the point of a forum was to express opinions.
