  • Warnock a shout for the Olympic job?

I think he should be a real contender. The likes of Redknapp, Hodgson and Beckham are constantly being linked with the Job for next year’s Olympics but why not Warnock? Top English coach, he knows the game inside out and certainly knows how to communicate with players on a one to one basis, which more recently others couldn't seem to do. His only downfall could be the lack of experience of managing at the highest level, i.e in Europe- Although Redknapp has only done this recently. This season will show what a good, top quality coach he is. I know he will prove a lot of doubters wrong and with an improved team, we could easily finish in the top 10.

Currently 66/1 on paddy power? Worth a punt?

    I'd go for Beckham.

Mainly because he would have the support of all Britain.

Where as Warnock is known as Colin W@nker to most football fans.

Thats true mate, ability wise aside, alot of people really dont like Warnock (the extent of his "Disputes" section of his wikipedia page says it all ! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Warnock#Disputes ) and so theres no way he would be put in charge of a team GB side.

But, in my eyes, the mans near on hero status!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I'd rather not have our manager distracted by a meaningless competition like that.
