    The commentator was saying that everyone in the defence knew what they were doing by showing the wingers inside.

    This allows other midfield players to assist in regaining possession on the edge of the box, whereas you know that if the winger gets a run around the FB, he's coming in down the byeline inside the box at pace and hard to stop.

    By showing players inside, you can then mark them closer which puts pressure on them too. Bosingwa makes it very obvious to players by turning his body sideways as if to say, that if you go down the line, I'll have you straight away, and it works.

    He also made reference to the fact that the DM's come across to cover well for AT when he doesn't backtrack. It's not for us to question that as we don't know his positional instructions from NW.
