Just watched Match choice and thought he was worth a mention! As always, worked his socks off, broke up Everton play, moved well off the ball and always looking for space and bar maybe 3 passes, his distirbution was superb.

Great partnership with Derry, continuing on from last season!

Hate saying it but he gave the ball away loads yesterday.

Chipped in with his usual energetic style & its not fair to talk about any negative after such an amazing result but as I say after being at the game he did waste a lot of our possession needlessly.

BUT forget that the whole team including Ali were superb.

I think its fair to say of the midfielders, Buzz and Derry had better games than Ali yesterday, but a great player nonetheless who will definitely make a name for himself this season.

Faurlin has mixed views with me.

I thought he did ok yesterday, but was the worst player on the pitch against Bolton. I do think fans rate him very highly but I am willing to give him a fair few more premiership matches before I decide on him.

I would say however that if we do sign a quality defensive midfielder I wouldn't be dropping Derry and I think Faurlin would have to fight for a place in the sde which might actually do him good. Anyway it's not fair on comparing him with Derry because derry has been better than our whole team.

Connolly did a decent job at full back, he's definitely NOT a centre back but well done and he could push for hill for a place but we do need to improve in that area.

All about opinons I guess. But I'd pretty much say you are in the vast minority who thinks Faurlin hasn't got a lot of class.

Very intelligent footballer but as previously mentioned needs a few more games to find his feet, the pace of the Premiership & he will be back on top form imo.

Same as 99% of other footballers who step up to the top level.

Faurlin had a good game but he's still not at his best yet so give him time. He is instrumental in keeping the ball and making himself available for any player that's on the ball. He has the best passing vision in the team. The midfield five looked class and solid together even when Ephraim was brought on who had a very good game.
