what a shambles of a show post match views were shocking never even showed our goal again all about a 17 year old playing for everton.
but on the other hand football first on sky was quality thought we played some nice stuff and that was proberly one of our best defensive displays ive seen in a long while.

Watched it this morning expecting them to rave about Shaun Derry's display and to see Adel's silky skills on the touchline in the first half but no.... A 17 year old who looks ok but in a team that lost!

I do wonder if Flabio and BE have broken down a few bridges with the media which will need rebuilding.

Yeah but our performance was based on containment and nullifying Everton. MOTD just wants to show goal-mouth action.... I can only remember us having a couple of direct efforts on goal but they had several so the "highlights" favoured Everton.
Basically, it illustrates how a few mins of highlights are totally inadequate in teerms of conveying the sublety of how games play-out in real time.

what do you expect - none of them watched any mroe or the game than was shown on the highlightes. Do you really think they watched all of the games in full.....?

Just got back in time to watch it and looking forward to it. What a disappointment, expected the highlights to favour Everton but poor post match comment. This was a massive win for a team most so called experts have written off with a 34 year old bossing the match.
I agree with Trash that the whole BE/FB circus has damaged us in the media, but, it won't last long now Tony has started his charm offensive. The Beeb seem to like him already.

I thought they were quite fair. Made it the second game and it was the first time they had spoken about Everton this season as their game had been off last week, whereas they did quite a bit on us last week.
Also they praised us well and they did not damn us too much last week. You can't expect a 15-minute breakdown talking abut every player.

I like the way they did not show the way Derry tracked back and made a last ditch tackle that left their player face down, chewing grass.

Thought it was fine, don't know what some of you expect really. Sure it was a basic summation but what do you expect when they've got all the other games to get through.
