I pay a grand a year for my ST, I'll analyse the performance till I'm blue in the face if I see fit.
Fair point but you just seem to turn everything into a negative all the time.....

Everton however were poor and still should of had 3 or 4. Connolly should of had a guilt edge penalty given against him in first half also.

We rode our luck and got a result but on another day we would have been punished Bolton esq.

Away days like this should be cherished by those who went, away wins in the PL are a rarity at times let alone for us.

We need new arrivals ASAP, IMO looking at the fixtures we need 7 pts from the next 4 matches to keep our PL status dream on track. It would be good to see 3/4 players in before the end of the week, today we beat a Premier League side with what was a Championship Line up.

I'd be tempted to field a near full strength side against Rochdale to maintain confidence levels and fitness.

Fernandes get the cheque book out and lets crack on!
bit of perspective, we were UNLUCKY last week, worldy , OG , Deflection , injury.

so if we had a bit of luck today , or faced a dodgy side , good.

My perspective is that we're 9th in the league, 2nd placed London side and in touching distance of a champions league place but I'm making sure I'm not getting carried away

The players gave everything today, especially bearing in mind a couple played while suffering from a virus

I expect players to give blood for the hoops and they all did today apart from taraabt who was missing for much of the second half but i understand he was one of the players unwell so I wont hold that against him

The eye opener were the periods where we retained possesion and moved the ball fairly comfortably. Yes Everton were a bit rusty and yes on another day they could have had a couple of goals but we had bad luck last week and got some balance this week. Our goal was well taken and we also might have had more

our support though only about 1500 or so was brilliant and it must have been embarrasing for the everton fans and clearly was for those to our left but the banter was well natured, great celebrations when we scored and also at the end.

Fantastic day for all concerned with QPR, yes we still need to improve the squad to compete effectively over a season but I am so very happy that our championship winning team (plus gabidon and a cameo at the end from Bothroyd were able to play and win at one of the bigger premiership teams

Have to say I was surprised at how poor Everton were today - would love to sit here and be able to say we took control of the game but really Everton's own lethargy had as much to do with it. Came out the blocks strong but stood off us once we started to pass to each other and just let us build our confidence up. Second half I braced myself for an onslaught and instead they were very lifeless apart from young Barkley.

Not to take anything away from our lads heroic efforts mind, just saying.

What with evertons lack of spending and maybe being forced to sell some of their better players i think maybe they might really struggle this season and maybe even go down!
