I just don't understand why he is not on anyone's radar unlike Beckford.

I mentioned similar a few weeks back....I live near Exeter so Bristol is local to me.....He scores loads regularly......albeit at lower league standard.

i mentioned him other day. id rather take a punt on someone like him, desperate for a chance at higher level, than sign sum1 who thinks theyre too good for us, or another untried foreigner

Being local, have you seen much of him?
A Bristol based R that I speak to day to day says he is a quality striker - at his current level - but won't cut it higher. He is not a footballer so much as a battering ram that scores some good goals. But he's a lump with little technical skill or footballing nous - so leave well alone at Championship level.
