For Arsenal they could probably find the amount of money needed down the back of those posh seats in the Emirates dugout.
He is an obvious solution to one of Arsenal's many problems, however, i think Wenger is too stubborn to defy his "principles" and sign an old (in football terms) and English player. They may however do something to try and appease the fans.....

I would agree ref Spurs though that with Diarra coming in (if he does) then it would presumably rule out any Parker bid. To be honest, it makes sense as LEvy normally buys younger players who they are likely to be able to sell on in a few years, Diarra fits that bill, whereas PArker certainly doesn't.

Although I would 98% rule this out, any thoughts on United going for him?

I would say we need "fit" players. If we sign players who are already not playing regularly or are unfit, it will take them a few weeks to get to full fitness.

          Midfielder:

I think this puts a question mark over Bullard, and I also cant see us signing both Parker and Bullard. So Parker is the main signing.

          Centre Back

Onuoha - U21 international sounds like the ticket.
Ashley Williams - might we still be sniffing around?
Degen - isnt playing regularly (doesnt sound like a Warnock type player)
Bassong (possibly a choice between him and Onuoha,if Spurs want to sell)

          Full Back

          Bertrand/Van Aanholt
          Traore (not fully fit?)
Ahmed Fathy (if NW wants, then probably can get)

          Wing-back

Puncheon (if NW wants, then he surely can afford)
Wright-Philips (would want 2 year deal on signficant wages?)
Joe Cole (1 year loan, is he fully fit?)

So here's the guess on the 4 players:

          Parker
          Onuoha
          Fathy
          Puncheon

Fifth player: extra full back Traore.

What about the Fulham player Mick Jones was looking at the other night?
            Who can that be?

Did Mcanuff at Reading sign a new contract recent I'd take him, How much do you reckon Forest would want for chambers, think he has potential. Would of gone for mancienne if he was still in the country.
