Defence is key to us staying up now...if we can get a couple of decent cb and quick full backs anyone else we sign is a bonus to me.....

What other defenders are realistic acquisitions??? Thoughts??

PS I am still buzzing and over the moon as it seems we have got our QPR back and we have people who care for the club and fans...lets all get behind them now!!!

Im Surpirsed was well mcguguan hasn't been snapped up....I think i would drop dead if we did pull of those 5 siginings - it would certainly give us one hell off a chance of staying up this year... iw ould certainly fancy our chances against the likes of swansea, norwhich, wigan, wolves and blackburn...

I could be way off the mark here but i cant see anybody getting SWP for any less than £6/7mill tbh... Although saying that I have just seen PSG offered 2.5, so maybe he is going on the ultra cheap.

6.McGugan - Would be nice, but I think they'll want more than he's worth.

I meant Kyle Walker and Onouha for loan, and Huth I know is a long shot.

Huth is Stoke's main CB. Woodgate is injury prone, Upson isn't that consistant (I'd still have had him here, though).

I think we need to aim a little more respective than some players mentioned. Become established, then take these sorts of players. Look at Stoke and Sunderland.

Yeah good point. We should take 2 or 3 players at the most to allow the squad to gel and establish itself in the top flight then we can look at these players
