What a great interview. Extremely articulate and likeable. Fun the way when he is told Warno wants five players, he responds "its gone up. It started as three, then it was four, now its five." He refused to confirm Scott Parker specifically but did say if it takes £8m to get the right player, they would have to seriously consider it. Said the be all and end all this season was staying up. Also stressed the importance of the academy, getting old fans back and building a new fan base. I don't know if he was reading a script but from a fan's perspective he could hardly have said anything more positive. Even invoked the Gerry Francis era.
