  • Are you more or less confident now?

Obviously Tony has given a fantastic press conference and has cheered me up no end BUT I have to be honest I was delighted to see BE and FB take over, I felt great after their first few words too.

Are we more confident this time or is talk just that ...talk?

Personally I think Tony along with his new team will take us onwards and upwards. No talk of a four year plan like the previous lot, he mentioned the importance of keeping us in the PL this season and then making progress.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

You have to be more confident.......

But as WeareQPR12 said earlier....Let us see who we sign first and not jump the gun.

        Reb, I like your style.
Not even 4o'clock yet, and you've lathered the Murphy's.
Will be having a few pints meself, to celebrate.

More confident, of course. I've articulated the concern that Mr. Fernandes might be just a pal of the former owners - brought in to front their continued interest. This does seem less likely to me now than when the idea first occurred. I've also been quite encouraged by talking to a Malaysian colleague who used to work for Warner Music in KL when Fernandes was the boss there. She remains friends with one of Fernandes's direct reports from that period who still works for him now. She's made all sorts of assurances about the character of Mr. Fernandes and doubts very much he'd get involved in QPR in bad faith or for shady reasons. This is all quite reassuring, but let's see how it all works out!

Once a month he carries the bags of his Air Asia customers. He understands PR and valueing his customers. Would you ever get T&C carrying their F1 clients' bags?

Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.
