  • I wonder why the Mittals just didn't buy Flabbio and Bernie's share?

Was it merely to do with the fact that they felt it was overpriced?

I'm not sure how much Tony has paid for the shares but even it's say 50 million, that's an 1/8th of his money. He must be fronting the money for someone else. That's a large part of his fortune on the Rangers.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

He is part of a 3 man Malaysian consortium.

Reported as being 60 million, 40 million less than originally quoted by Ecclestone. May have been that he just didnt want to sell to the Mittals due to their 'disagreements' and rather sell to one of his F1 mates instead.

Good news that the ground ownership question has been cleared up too.

I agree think they thought that Bernie was asking too much. Also dont really think Tango & Cash wanted to sell to the Mittals because of the disagreements they had at board level , and probably shown them up for what they were Greedy B######s.
Tango & cash invest somewhere in the region of £30M and sell for £60M not a bad return Personally think they just done enough to get us up knowing they would sell for a hefty profit
