That was fantastic really.
Tony came across very well indeed. Talked about importance of building the club from the base up - investing in the training ground and the academy and - the importance of a good and collaborative relationship with the fans (words to that effect).
There were lots of smiles. Amit seemed very pleased and Neil was clearly excited.
It was extremely professional, informative but also 'warm' at the same tine.
Good times !

"I want the fans to be proud of what we're doing and be involved as much as we can. The fans pay good money and are stakeholders, so whatever we do, I want the fans to be proud. We'll do it in style and with integrity"
Tony Fernandes
Have to admit to being a little emotional when he said that... All we've ever asked for is to be treated with respect..
We got our Ranger's back!

What a fantastic press conference, fluid, transparent, light hearted....A complete breath of fresh air. I too punched the air at the TV at least twice. Talk of investing in training facilities, youth academy, transparency and open conversation with the fans, getting everyone involved, building for the future, supporting NW in whatever way they can, 110% behind NW....I could go on but I'm going back to watch the Sky recorded conference again.......U R'sssssssss

Basically said:
- will back Neil short from signing his name in Blood neil has his FULL support
- want to build the club up, academy, training ground but due to deadlines must look at players as a priority
- Neil has called him 422 times in the last 7 hours to discuss players (with a smile)
- non commital on Parker as you would expect
- He's not going to make guarentees he cant keep again will support the club
- wants to be transparent with fans and engaging, he said he hopes to meet with fans over the years and is always approachable
- When it rains in Malaysia its a lucky day and then looked out the window at the rain!!!
All in all if you think Amit spoke well this guy is just as good - very down to earth and seems very passionate about us and working with AMit/Mittals
We're in safe hands guys!!!!

One thing not mentioned yet - and it's more good news.....................when he said (words to the effect of) he doesn't intend to get involved in team affairs and will leave it to the expert!
Nice dig done in a very subtle way - loved it - and yes, when he mentioned integrity, fans as stakeholders and various other bits, I honestly had tears of joy in my eyes#standuptocancer
