  • QPR line up Arsenal's Traoré

QPR have targeted £1.5million Armand Traoré as one of five answers to a humbling open day defeat in the Premiership.

The Arsenal left-back is on boss Neil Warnock’s radar, along with others, after the manager admitted he needed at least ‘four or five new players’ to bolster a side shell-shocked by the 4-0 home reverse to Bolton.

Do they just read off this messageboard and link us with a player that someone suggests? Good news if we are after more players, bad news is if its Traore for left back, had an awful time at juventus last season

But probably not quite as awful a time as Clint Hill had against Bolton...

Very good at attacking not so good at defending like you see with quite a lot of fullbacks now. He would definitely improve our back four though and add much needed pace.

Eeeeeee, not sure about this, he is a very poor left back, more of a winger these days tbh

                  BUT

                  Being linked with players!

                  Who cost money!

And us being able to pay said money!

                  Crikey!

I need a sit down and a stiff drink

He seems quite rated by Wenger, he played 4 out of 6 pre-season games this year and, granted friendlies dont mean much, but for Wenger to have picked him for two-thirds of his friendlies he must be half decent? Cant imagine Wenger picking Hill....

And Djourou who came on as sub for Gibbs at LB limped off too.
They ended up playing the kid from Charlton at LB.

We'd be better off raiding Chelsea for a left back.
                        Van Aanholt or Bertrand.

Agreed. Both highly rated, and are desperate for a crack at regular Premier League football. Win win

                            .
Both cracking players. Ideally, IMO, id go with Bertrand. But both would put a smile on my face starting at LB!

IF, we can sign 1 of the 2 above mentioned, plus Onouha, plus Bullard plus 1 other player I would be very optimistic as to our chances of survival!
