PR stunt by TF to impress fans knowing their is very little chance of signing Parker?

Let's see him follow it up with a £6m bid if he's serious.

Yep, not a chance in hell we would ever get Parker, even if we did make a serios 6mill bid, Im sure somebody like Spurs would simply match that then offer higher wages? At least its a sign of some ambition though, also like the idea of Onouha (should the rumours be true) although didnt he saye arlier in summer he wanted to fight for his place at City?

The ealing gazette article saying TF has promised NW 5 new players in next 12 days is a mood lifter ... I trust Neil to spend wisely and bring in some key players!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

This is the problem we will now have. Other clubs will see we suddenly have some money and that we are completely desperate. The price will go up and lots of other clubs will be after the good players.

In which case we may as well put in a cheeky £40 mil bid for Modric and force the **** to pay more, would do spurs a favour and in turn a major pr stunt.

Would be a bit gutting if they excepted our bid though eh!

We'd have to sell our ground to pay for his used toe nail clippings

Yes, I am now a lot more savvy, and less gullible, than before Flabio & Bernie took over.

If TF is serious about getting Parker, West Ham's rejection of the initial offer won't be the end of the matter.

Exactly Bush let's see what this guy is made of.

99% certain we'd never get Parker but as you say let's see some REAL intent & put in a bigger bid.

Oh, I agree. Not complaining! Merely saying that just because we suddenly have a bit of money its not going to be easy for Warnock to bring in 4/5 players of sufficient quality and on budget in less than two weeks. Every set of circumstances throws up new challenges.
