  • What would Parker's wages be?

You hear rumours he is on about 70k a week at West Ham.

No way would we pay that. I am sure our wage cap will go up, but you hear we are paying 25k tops at the moment.

It's important we remain prudent because the last thing we want is to get relegated with players on top wages. That was a big problem for us last time.

But at the same time we do need some top players with Premiership experience to try and stay up.

I rate Parker a lot. He plays for England and with the Euros coming up this season he will want to keep his place so he may think if no big club come in for them then he should come to us albeit on lower wages e.g. 40k a week.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Mate, you would never hear the end of it if he came to us

But true, if Spurs want him then he'll get him. But it seems that Spurs are reluctant to spend cash at the moment. I suppose it depends on them selling Crouch for example. But West Ham will sell to the highest bidder and at the moment that's us

i cant see him coming to Rangers, that would be a proper kick in the boll*cks for West Ham fans if he did.

Imagine the stick you'd get, feeder club etc......

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
