you can read it on News Now, seems well sourced. Says nothing signed and sealed and talks going on into the night. Will be an annoucement tomorrow tho not necessarily a press conference. Mittel likely to remain, it suggests.

Gives credence to the Parker rumour and also says we will want to buy the Man City full back with the difficult name for £3m. Also suggests we are interested in Carlton Cole.

Make of it what you will...

Not doubting it but If deal done why talk through the night?

Presumably the article written a few hours ago. Newspaper articles are written by about 4/ 5pm so in newspaper terms it was into the night. Seems to be right on other points so interesting what it said about other player targets.

Think we all know where you are coming from mate. Plenty of things can go wrong but think for tonight at least we should be positive.

Imagine the atmosphere that would have been at Loftus Road had this happened 7 days ago, although us getting thumped may well have been a blessing in disguise if it facilitated a deal. Happy with the Man City full back, young, quick and wanting to get his career got going!

Looked him up on Wiki. Seems he actually prefers to play centre back, so wonder if the plan is Dyer right back, Van Ahlott (sp?) and this bloke in the centre.

Big deals nearly always get signed in the early hours of the morning. A deadline gets set for one reason or another and the parties involved just can't stop themselves from negotiating right up to the deadline.

If they're this close its unlikely they will be into deal breakers - more likely to be the last few drops of blood Tango and Cash are trying to squeeze out of the deal and Fernandes is saying no.

What a relief it will be to see the back of those two.

Everything was going so well, then you mentioned Carlton Cole.

defence and midfield must be priority, quite happy with what we got upfront:pleasantsuprise:
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
