  • Can a club of our size...

Survive in this prem league, with a average gate of say between 15/16k, a stadium that holds only 18k or so, wages being what they are, can we possibly expect to compete at this level?? The only way i see that we could is to have a owner willing to pump Millions in , as the Russian up the road has done, and to move to a more modern ground with a better match day experience, and that would hold at least 25k. Otherwise we will struggle at this level to keep our heads above water.

Wigan and Fulham are managing to survive, and they are of similar size to us.

Think you're right although Blackpool only just missed out on survival with a refreshing and determined style of football.Even smaller attendances and transfer budget than ours, and the way they've started this season in the Championship, could well bounce back up again.

Yeah, could be done if fans are prepared to be the yo yo club, and be managed strictly. But with our ground and our fan base we will really struggle to go to the next level. Imo.

If Wigan can survive for more than six seasons in the premiership, then so can we.
                      It is possible.

Theres is very nearly a Wimbledon story, from nearly going out of the football league, to new ground and prem league status for however many years, great chairman, and made very good decisions when needed. All these comparisons to Fulham, Wigan, Blackburn are ok but they all had or still have very good chairman and own there own grounds. And the grounds are superior to ours.

We are in London with a much higher rent if we want to build a new ground, along with that we have this:
4 other London clubs already in the prem,
3 of them in the top 5/6.
And just to make things difficult 2 of them within a very short distance,
Oh and to make things worse they have now put the fixtures so that we play at home a lot of the time when Fulham
are also at home and for people who just are on Hols (Tourists) etc who just want to see a prem game theirs is much cheaper.
                            Queens Park Rangers
                            NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

That's very true, no other teams have to compete with so many other clubs in such short distances. Even the big two North London clubs aren't that far away.
