Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
John Arne Riise
Morten Gamst pedersen
John Carew
Brede Hangeland
of the four still playing, they would all walk into our team, bar except Carew.
Cant argue with Riise and Hangeland.... but Im guna stick my neck out abit and say that, IMO, both Adel and Buzz are as good on their day as Gamst Pederson.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
A good point. I always take Swanley's comments with a pinch of salt.
And you're forgetting
1. Erik Thorsvedt
2. Oyvind Leonardsen
3. Lars Bohenen
4. Stig Inge Bjornebye
5. Tore Andre Flo
6. Martin Andresen
7. Ronny Johnsen
They would all have walked into our team.
Like i said ignore Swanley's comments.
How long ago are we talking? Its rarley Norway produces a great player, and even when they do they are Norways bets talent. This lad who Pompey have signed isnt Norways best talent is he.

You can ignore me all you like -- the fact is that, for the amount of footballers Norway produce, very few make it into the Prem -- that list people were very quick to shove onto this thread is a tiny fraction of Norwegian footballers.
And, if Vaagen Moen is as good as we're told, why did NW play him last season? Why did he not start him or use him off the bench last Saturday?
Ignore, take with a pinch of salt, etc. etc., I couldn't care less -- but facts are facts.
I couldnt care less how good they are or people think they are, the fact is, i do not want our premiership survivla based on some two bob untried scandanavian twonk.

A great nutshell!
Along the same lines, I notice that Malaysians (I assume) on Twitter are urging Fernandez to buy the best Malaysian players to play for us in the Prem. Now, there may well be the odd untapped gem there, but are we in a position to take a chance?
Same situation -- the best in their country.
